Joshua 1:8
Keep this Book of the Law always on your lips; meditate on it day and night, so that you may be careful to do everything written in it. Then you will be prosperous and successful.
It’s my prayers that this message will bless you, prosper you and give you a successful life
Let me share with you 10 principles of living a successful life.
10 principles of living a successful life
The underpinning principle of a successful life is finding your calling. Everyone is called for an assignment. That calling s your purpose. That calling is the light to your world.
I degree no darkness can put off the light that God has placed in you. All the darkness of your past failures or people’s opinion of you can never put off the light of God in you.
Ecclesiastes 3:11
He has made everything beautiful in its time. He has also set eternity in the human heart; yet no one can fathom what God has done from beginning to end
What eternity has God set in your heart? God lives in eternity but you live in time. This is absolutely awesome. He set eternity in your heart. That piece of eternity is the calling that has to be accomplished in time. God has set a time and season for your calling to be accomplished. That calling is what is crying out in your heart. When people are out of calling, something is crying out in their heart. This is what the Psalmist calls, the deep calleth unto the deep
Deep calleth unto deep at the noise of thy waterspouts: all thy waves and thy billows are gone over me – Psalm 42:7
The deep is God’s calling in your human spirit crying out for liberty. Have you ever hated Mondays? Never liked the job you are currently in or the place or position you are today? That’s the deep calleth unto the deep. Have you ever thanked God is Fridays? That’s the deep calleth unto the deep. When you find your calling, every day will be Fridays.
In degree in Jesus Name, you find a revelation of your calling today in Jesus Name.
Jeremiah 1:5
“Before I formed you in the womb I knew you, before you were born, I set you apart; I appointed you as a prophet to the nations.”
If God knew Jeremiah before he became blood and flesh in his mother’s womb, what about you? If God called Jeremiah to be a prophet what about you?
Ephesians 2:10
For we are God’s handiwork, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do.
Rom 8:29-30
29 For those God foreknew he also predestined to be conformed to the image of his Son, that he might be the firstborn among many brothers and sisters. 30 And those he predestined, he also called; those he called, he also justified; those he justified, he also glorified.

What are the 10 principles of success?
Nehemiah’s Life is our reference in this teaching
1.0 Purpose- Purpose is the first principle of success. Purpose is why you were created. The original intent of you. Where purpose is not known abuse is inevitable.
Scripture – Nehemiah 2:11 -I set out during the night with a few others. I had not told anyone what my God had put in my heart to do for Jerusalem.
Nehemiah has a burning desire to rebuild the wall. That’s what God has set in his heart.
How do I know my purpose? You can find your purpose through, God’s Devine visitation, through talents or through Passion to do something for humanity
2.0 Passion – Passion is stronger than any opposition. Passion is tougher than your trials. Every resistance has come to make you stronger and refine your faith.
Scriptural ref: Nehemiah 1:4
When I heard these things, I sat down and wept. For some days I mourned and fasted and prayed before the God of heaven.
Have you found obsession for something? There’s no success without passion.
Living example – My life as a mentor
3.0 Plan – Have a plan for your life – God cannot direct your life if you have no plans for your life. Have plans for soul winning, business, your children, your future. The plans you put on papers will give you substance and materials for your prayers. If you have no plans, your prayer materials will be limited.
Proverbs 16:1 — To humans belong the plans of the heart, but from the Lord comes the proper answer of the tongue.
Proverbs 16:9 – In their heart’s humans plan their course, but the Lord establishes their steps.
Scripture – Nehemiah 2:11 –
I went to Jerusalem, and after staying there three days 12 I set out during the night with a few others. I had not told anyone what my God had put in my heart to do for Jerusalem. There were no mounts with me except the one I was riding on.
Like Nehemiah, learn to write your plan and show it to no man but God. Have at least 5 years for your life. Write it on paper.
4.0 People – You need the right people in life to live a successful life. Nehemiah needed the right people to rebuild the wall. No tree can make a forest. Be social and pray for God’s wisdom to guide you to the right people to help your dreams. God has the right people for you.
Nehemiah 2:17
17 Then I said to them, “You see the trouble we are in: Jerusalem lies in ruins, and its gates have been burned with fire. Come, let us rebuild the wall of Jerusalem, and we will no longer be in disgrace.”
While you need the right people to be successful in life, you need wisdom to deal with opposition that comes from people
Opposition from People
There are two types of opposition in people. There are physical opposition and spiritual opposition.
Physical opposition (internal)
Nehemiah 2:19
19 But when Sanballat the Horonite, Tobiah the Ammonite official and Geshem the Arab heard about it, they mocked and ridiculed us. “What is this you are doing?” they asked. “Are you rebelling against the king?”
I answered them by saying, “The God of heaven will give us success.
Nehemiah never had opposition as the king cup bearer but when he started doing what he was born to do, opposition came. When you decide to do what you were born to do, you will have oppositions. People will mock and ridicule you. When you become original, the photocopiers will rise up against you. Never focus your energy on toxics people. Focus on God.
Physical opposition (external)
Nehemiah 4:11
Also, our enemies said, “Before they know it or see us, we will be right there among them and will kill them and put an end to the work.”
What can you learn – people can decide to befriend you simplify to kill your dreams and vision. External oppositions are easier to deal with than internal opposition. My enemies I have the grace to handle but O ‘Lord save me from my friends.
Spiritual opposition – Nehemiah 6:10-12
One day I went to the house of Shemaiah son of Delaiah, the son of Mehetabel, who was shut in at his home. He said, “Let us meet in the house of God, inside the temple, and let us close the temple doors, because men are coming to kill you—by night they are coming to kill you.”
11 But I said, “Should a man like me run away? Or should someone like me go into the temple to save his life? I will not go!” 12 I realized that God had not sent him, but that he had prophesied against me because Tobiah and Sanballat had hired him.
What can you learn? Watch out for false prophesies. There are after the vision of God in your life.
There are marriages, businesses, careers today are had been ruin by false prophecies from false prophet and prophetess as they are called.
1 John 4:1 -Beloved, believe not every spirit, but try the spirits whether they are of God: because many false prophets are gone out into the world.
If the gift of discernment doesn’t operate in you, you must then learn to text every prophecy from the word of God. Trying everything from the word of God is the manifestation of the spirit of discernment.
Note
It’s important to note that the spirit of discernment is not same as the gift of discernment of spirit. The latter is one of the gifts of the Holy Spirit while the former is an attribute of the spirit-man that is born again. The spirit of discernment belonged to all mature Christians. Heb 5:14 But strong meat belonged to them that are of full age, even those who by reason of use have their senses exercised to discern both good and evil. Again, Apostle Paul in 2Tim 2:15, advised you to study to shew thyself approved unto God a workman that needed not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth. Consistence heart involvement in reading and studying the word educate the human spirit to manifest the spirit of discernment. The spirit of discernment will help you to make the right decision and to avoid costly mistake
However, the gift of discernment of spirit is of the Gift of the Holy Ghost. This is given to you based on the office at which God had called you. The emphases here is the spirit of discernment, an attribute of the spirit man that is born again if trained. You can train your spirit man to manifest this attribute to trying every spirit from spoken words, from night dreams or from prophets and prophetess

In Pursuit of Purpose
I am dictating this little article for the ambitious man or woman—not for the man who is too lazy to develop what is in him, but for the man who is unsatisfied with anything but the best.
If you are strongly in your job or business, you may have not found your purpose.
Many people are in the wrong place in life.
They have no gift for the thing they are trying to do.
They are doing it simply to get by. A job or business that is not your life’s purpose is not worth a day in your life.
Choose your work, rather than have the work in which you have no interest thrust upon you.
You’re too valuable to allow the plans in your mind to superimpose God’s purpose in your heart.
Many plans are in a man’s mind, but it is the LORD’S purpose for him that will stand -Proverbs 19:21
Your plans are those jobs that do not align with God’s purpose in your life.
Your purpose is a service, not a job.
Your gift is hidden in your purpose, not in your human plans
A man’s gift makes room for him and brings him before great men – Proverbs 18:16
What will put you on top of life is your purpose not your plans
Your purpose in your passion
Find your purpose and put HARD WORK iINTO IT
There is room and a salary waiting for the man who has the ability and is willing to put hard work to purpose
I don’t care who you are. I don’t care what your handicaps are. They have never made a handicap that could hold any man/woman down who has found his/her purpose
Many hate Mondays because they haven’t found their purpose. Every day is Friday for the man/woman who has found his purpose
The first thing to do is to be born again.
For we are God’s handiwork, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do -Eph 2:10
You can only find your purpose in Christ
If you’re born again, train your human spirit to bring out God’s potential in it
Then, set your eyes on the goal. Then fight for it. There must be objectives.
Find those objectives, set your compass and sail for that star
